"Flow is the quality of ease that can be integrated into a life to give it the look and feel of almost effortless achievement." It is wonderfully portrayed by that song we all sang in nursery school, Row, Row, Row your boat. This brings to mind an enviable life. Putting together the song and life, we envision lives that seem frictionless and easy yet achieve success, everything seems to fall into place. In a way it could be the lives of Godmen or spiritual people we read about. These people seem to achieve their goals in a most peaceful, serene manner.

Flow has another quality. It is that quality that allows a life to pick up a momentum and energy of its own. It's not as elusive as it may seem. We all know people who go through life attracting opportunity after opportunity; or those who have a knack for being at the right place at the right time to connect with the right people. Or those who seem just plain lucky!

If you have found yourself being jealous of such lives of others though you don't need to be. Instead you can find your own connection between the Law of Attraction and flow. You can have the same types of benefits coming your way as they do. You don't have to continue to let your life be something that just happens. Instead you can be in complete control of it.

However, instead of being envious of others and wishing your life was that way too, you can make it happen. Take control of your own life and you will be much happier. You have to be willing to work for it though, to make it happen. You are going to have to be dedicated to changing your behaviors. You may not realize how much of what you do is tied into negative energy that is surrounding you. If you are willing to do this, then you too can benefit from the Laws of Attraction.

If you want to have a successful life that is fulfilling, then make it happen. Don't just accept what happens and then wonder why you are disappointed. A case in point is Carlos Justo who has his own show on TV. He sales homes that are worth millions of dollars. He has made himself so successful by implementing the Law of Attraction. He has clear goals and a process for achieving them. He is full of positive energy that helps to ensure what he wants is what falls into place. With some dedication to changing your current behaviors you too can be very successful in your life. The more you are able to focus on your goals the easier it will be to accomplish.

If you don't, you will continue to be among the group of people who don't achieve all they want. Now, many of them do have a fairly good life but they also have some issues that continue to come up for them over and over all the time. They spend their energy focusing on the negative things in their life instead of appreciating what is going right for them. They burn up all their energy being disappointed and stressed out instead of happy and confident.

As you learn how the Law of Attraction and flow work with each other, you will see the amount of positive energy continue to escalate. You will soon find it to be second nature that you have all that positive energy as well. You will be able to have a good quality of life where things fall into place as you see fit for them to. That is exactly what Carlos Justo did and you can too. He was once just starting out in the area of real estate. Now he is able to sale million dollar homes to people with lots of money. He is so full of energy that you can almost feel it when you watch him on TV. He definitely knows how to control and direct his level of positive energy though.

Now if Carlos can do it, why cant we. Agreed, we are not all Carlos' and therefore will not all make it to TV, but we could definitely take some pointers and try and put them into practice in our lives. Carlos' life seems to be the Law of Attraction in practice!

Most new moms are excited to lose those extra pounds and to regain their pre-pregnancy figures in record time. You may be tempted by all those diet pills lining the store shelves to give you a boost with your weight loss efforts. One diet pill you probably heard of is hoodia. Even though it is thought to be safe with no hoodia side effects, it is strongly advised that if you are breastfeeding you should avoid it.

If you are a breastfeeding mom you should delay starting hoodia until after your baby is weaned. Granted, there aren't any reports or reasons to back up this advice. In fact, the evidence suggests that authentic hoodia should be safe for most healthy individuals. Yet, breastfeeding moms are warned against taking it. I have a couple theories why that might be.

Hoodia diet pills work as appetite suppressants. It would be reasonable to assume that if the effects of the pills are passed in your breast milk, your baby may feel the effects too. Babies need their nourishment, and the last thing you want is for your baby to be feeling artificially full. You do not want your baby to be consuming less than he or she needs.

The second reason you should avoid hoodia while you are breastfeeding is that you need to keep your calorie levels up. Hoodia diet pills work by making you feel full sooner. This results in less food being consumed. Feeding a baby requires you to have an adequate, well balanced and nutritious diet. You do not want the quality of your breast milk to be effected by consuming insufficient nourishment.

A good way for new moms to begin getting back into their pre-baby shape is to put the baby into the stroller and go for a walk each day. Start slow and don't push yourself. Know that while your body is benefiting from the exercise, both you and your baby are benefiting from the fresh air. Keep in mind that when you are breastfeeding it is important to keep your water intake up. Breastfeeding moms do not need to become dehydrated. When you walk, take along a water bottle.

Another route that is great for new moms who want to get started on regaining their pre-pregnancy bodies is to take a class. Talk with your obstetrician, or check your local health department or hospital, to see what exercise groups are available for new moms in your area.

While you may be tempted to take various diet supplements while you are breastfeeding, it is not recommended. Breastfeeding alone is increasing your metabolism. A sensible diet combined with gentle exercise will be far more beneficial for you and your baby. Your baby is relying on you to provide all of their nourishment.

Yes, it is tempting to want to take hoodia diet pills. The lack of hoodia side effects makes it appear that it is safe, but breastfeeding moms should wait until their babies have weaned. No one wants a baby to feel "full" when she is not, or to have her appetite suppressed. Postpone taking hoodia until your baby no longer receives her nourishment from you.

I have been suffering from fatigue and general sluggishness lately. My doctor does not think it is any serious underlying causes.

There is a drawback to Alli that consumers should know about. If you eat too much fat you may soil or leak on yourself. These kinds of accidents can be embarrassing, so be forewarned. These occurrences can be prevented, however, by limiting the amount of fat you consumer per meal.

Supplements

Don't take any kind of diet supplements until you know what they are, even if they claim to be "natural." Just because they are natural doesn't mean they are good for you. For instance, bitter orange extract is being used as an ephedra replacement in many diet supplements. As you probably know, ephedra was banned because it caused adverse reaction in people, including several strokes and deaths.

Two supplements which seem safe and may aid in weight loss are hoodia gordonii and green tea extract. Hoodia is a natural appetite suppressant that has virtually no side effects. Green tea contains EGCG, an antioxidant that may help boost metabolism, according to some studies.

Diet pills - do they work for weight loss? As you can see, that depends. Some of the pills listed here may be beneficial and worth talking to your doctor about. Supplements may be a better alternative but there is no guarantee either that they are safer or equally as effective. Diet and exercise are the only tried and true methods for effective, long-term weight loss. Stretch marks are caused by pregnancy and an increase in weight. Hence, managing your weight and eating a balanced diet will help you avoid the scars. Another easy home remedy for stretch marks is by eating the right foods. By eating fruits and vegetables rich in antioxidants like vitamins A, E, C, and D, these nutrients will scrub off the damaging free radicals and likewise make your skin firm. Drinking a lot of water everyday will also help enhance the elasticity of your skin, therefore, keeping the stretch marks away.

However, drinking a lot of water and eating right still won't keep pregnant women from the natural expansion of their bodies. Phases of Atkins Diet

Achieve Bodybuilding Gains with the aid of a Successful Bodybuilder!

Last week I talked to a client of mine who had been very busy working over the Holidays,{as this is the peak season for his business} and he had not been able to work out as much as he wanted to in the gym and also he has not been able to get in all the meals that he needs to on time either.He was very frustrated and wanted to just drop the whole program for a couple of months until things got a bit quieter for him at work. I advised against doing so for the following reasons:

1. Stopping the training would lower his metabolism which in turn would lower his energy levels and thus make him less productive at work.

2. Though he couldn't get to the gym as often, getting his workout in and following the diet as much as possible would prevent him from losing valuable muscle mass while in turn putting on the pounds.This in turn would then prevent him from getting depressed as he sees his body going down hill.

3. As the work load eases he can start visiting the gym more often and follow the meal schedule again, he would be in good shape and his body would respond more quickly to the aggressive schedule. This is a very different story to the one he would have encountered if he would have stopped training and dieting altogether. He would have needed to use at least a week to get his body back in condition for the weights again and it would have taken him an extra week, or maybe even two, to get rid of all the extra body fat that he would have gained depending on how bad the diet was.

But, having said that, in order to be successful in bodybuilding you need to have the right mindset. Bodybuilding is both a physical and extremely psychological exercise. We all get frustrated at times when our schedules are affected by work, or any other life circumstance that may be thrown our way. Therefore, we have to fight aggressively and plan ahead if we want to get our workouts and meals in.

As bodybuilders we must keep our eyes on the ultimate goal, which is always to gain more muscle mass whilst reducing body fat. In order to get this done we must be consistent with our training and diet. If for whatever reason the regime that the bodybuilder has mapped out is too much of a commitment at a certain period in life, then simply change the program so that it fits into your time schedule. For instance, a while a ago there were periods when I had to work very long hours every week, I simply changed my training so that I could visit the gym as often as I could for 30-45 minutes of weight training. When I had no time to do cardiovascular exercise, I would superset antagonistic muscles in order to get some sort of cardiovascular effect. That is all I could manage to do at the time. I always tried to get my training in before work, but if for some reason I couldn't there was always the weekend to makeup sessions. With meals, I always brought in all of my meals with me pre-prepared and also enough Meal Replacement Powders for those times that I was really on the run.

Some of you for whatever reason may not even be able to do more than a couple sessions a week. If this is the case, then dont worry;simply make the most of the time that you do have available to train. At the end of the day the key to making lasting bodybuilding gains is that you have a realistic goal that can be executed consistently, not trying to follow one that looks really good on paper but cannot be executed. You will get to where you want to go, it may just take a little bit longer depending on how much time you can dedicate to reaching your goals.

Get the Basics of Conversational Hypnosis

If you have ever watched Star Wars you probably remember how the Force was used to talk people into doing things or accepting things. Just by lifting up the hand Obi Wan Kenobi was able to tell people exactly what to think. This is fiction of course, but by using conversational hypnosis you are able to do much of the same things. You do not even have to lift your hand.

How Does Conversational Hypnosis Work?

When we talk about conversational hypnosis we often think about hypnosis shows or street hypnosis. Conversational hypnosis is no magic or black art technique. By using some well tested strategies we are able to use conversational hypnosis to convince people about close to everything, and they will believe it as the truth. Milton Erickson is one of the leaders of conversational hypnosis and he discovered how people fall into different trances all through the day. Watching TV, waiting for the bus, reading, working and in other every day situations.

Milton Erickson found that it was possible to use this type of trance like situations to get into a prospects mind. He also found that he was able to use this to change the way the prospect was thinking and feeling about a certain thing. By removing the resistance towards his suggestions he could implement any thought into the prospects mind. He also found that it was simple to use rapport and confusion to get people to enter this trance like state of mind. Rapport, confusion and suggestion are the ground pillars of conversational hypnosis.

Rapport: We all have tried to strike rapport with people around us. Rapport can be defined as entering into an agreement mode with the other party. For example if you are talking to someone and he says, "This is not the way" then you need to agree with the person and acknowledge that he is right.

Rapport helps in getting the subject's guards down. In case you strike a rapport with the subject then the subject considers you as "his party" and then it becomes easy to influence him.

Confusion: Another principle of conversational hypnosis is confusion. This means that the subject needs to be confused so much so that he does not know what to do and turns to you for an answer. Sometimes confusion can result from a simple question like "do you really think that the right way to do it?"

Suggestion: When you have established rapport and you have used confusion to get your subject to go to you for an answer it is your time to strike. Now it is your time to suggest a better way to handle the situation. You want to do this indirectly to make the subject think that he thought it out himself.

Conversational hypnosis is an excellent tool to influence people to your way of thinking especially if your way is beneficial to them. However, word of caution here excess use of these principles may make the person see through your technique. Conversational hypnosis is a great technique to influence your lover or your friend to your way of thinking.

Why You Shouldn't Waste Your Money on Manual Treadmills

People purchase exercise equipment to help them with their workouts, not complicate them. When you go shopping for treadmills, the price tags on manual treadmills may seem perfect for your wallet because they're so cheap. However, the stress these machines put on the body, as well as the hassle of operating one, make them a bad investment.

Since there is no motor in a manual treadmill, you have to provide the power to move the belt. The problem is the belts on most of these treadmills are difficult to bring up to speed at a flat or even slight incline. Most people find they have to put the treadmill in a sharp incline to get the belt in motion.

Manual treadmills also lack momentum. Unlike a motorized treadmill, every time you slow down on a manual treadmill, you will have to bring the belt back up to speed again yourself. While this may sound like a good way to burn calories, it doesn't benefit you long term. In addition, your feet, knees, and joints probably won't like the abuse of having to keep the treadmill belt moving.

To get the most out of a workout on a treadmill, your body needs to maintain a fluid walk, run or jog. Manual treadmills aren't equipped to do this. As stated, when you ease up or slow down, it slows down, too. There is no push, or momentum, to a manual treadmill. To be honest, it is virtually impossible to keep a consistent motion on a manual treadmill. Yes, you may burn some extra calories getting one of these treadmills up and running, and then up and running again when it begins to slow its pace. But, in the long term, more calories will be burned if you are on a treadmill that's motor driven because it will keep your motion consistent and regulated.

Manual treadmills are bad investments because they can actually take time away from your workout. Most people don't have a lot of time to workout. The time spent having to get on and off a machine to adjust its incline, and the constant slowing down and building back of a manual treadmill's momentum is really a waste of precious time. A manual treadmill's lack of features also makes it very easy to grow bored. Boredom can easily turn into exercise procrastination!

As stated, most people buy manual treadmills because the price looks good. Yet, you should know that you can purchase high quality, used motorized treadmills for around $700. This budget friendly treadmill works great for both walkers and those who enjoy light jogging.

Hoodia, and especially Hoodia Gordonii, has been exploited by southern Africans for centuries. The plant first became known to western researchers while detailing the native foods of South Africa. The Hoodia plant is classified as a stem succulent - it may look like a cactus, but technically it is not. The plants may grow to a meter and are covered in sharp needles. Their flowers give off a strong, unpleasant aroma that hides the medicinal values of the plant.

Within the Hoodia plant family are many other species, some of which grow in backyard gardens. Hoodia Gordonii is the only variation of the species that may help with weight loss. In southern Africa the Bushmen ate the plant to suppress their appetite, notably when going on extended hunting trips. This example of the traditional use of Hoodia lends strong credibility to modern claims about its effectiveness in weight loss programs.

Hoodia became known after CBS and BBC ran stories in 2003. Now it can be found for sale everywhere, both in pill form and as a liquid extract. With a vast market of people worried about their weight, it's no wonder a huge market has sprung up for this product. Ongoing studies are being done, but so far there have been some encouraging results. Weight loss can be achieved without the hunger pangs most dieters encounter.

A clinical test involving a group of obese people was conducted - the subjects were given Hoodia and told to remain on their couches eating, reading and watching TV. They were happy to discover they had reduced their calorie intake and lost weight. Those sensational test results encouraged many companies to sell Hoodia-based nutritional products. Talk show gossip about TV actresses using Hoodia only added fuel to the fire as people raved about the hot new health product.

Today, with the high demand, pharmaceutical companies are working to develop extracts of the Hoodia plant. P57 is the active ingredient of Hoodia Gordonii, and extensive efforts are underway to develop synthetic variations of P57. Up till now this has proven to be an expensive and difficult process. Due to their lack of success creating synthetic Hoodia, manufacturers are focusing their efforts on developing the natural Hoodia plant.

A major problem is the fact the Hoodia Gordonii plant will only grow in a very limited area of southern Africa, and has become a plant under threat. Severe restrictions are placed on the sale of Hoodia Gordonii extracts, since only certain authorized people have the right to market these extracts now. Naturally, the cost of Hoodia products have risen over time as the consumer demand for these diet products grows exponentially.

If Hoodia performs as well as claimed, it will have a huge impact on the enormous dieting niche. Till now, no studies have come up with conclusive evidence showing harmful side effects from the use of Hoodia. Continued research is needed to prove conclusively the extent to which Hoodia safely kills a user's appetite. When used with a smart diet and lots of exercise, users very often experience more weight loss without suffering from hunger pains.

Now that spring has arrived on the northern half of the planet, you may be feeling the need to go outdoors with your workout. This is the time of year when you get out the bicycle and add some great outdoor exercise options to your usual routine. And while cycling is a terrific cardiovascular and lower body workout, what about that upper body?

Why not give Kayaking a try?

Kayaking, like most sports, develops endurance and increases strength. And because the work is delegated to the upper body, it is great for developing the chest, back and shoulders. Of course, your cardiovascular system gets a workout too.

All bodies of water are good potentials for kayaking. You can kayak on the ocean, a lake or river. Some people confuse a canoe and kayak but they are different vessels. The kayak has what is referred to as a closed cockpit where you sit on the bottom of the boat with legs straight forward enclosed by a canopy to keep water out of the boat. A canoe is open.

Fishermen use kayaks as do adventure sportsmen and divers. Kayaks are very adaptable and have great range. So much so, that kayaking as a sport has seen a rapid rise over the last several years. Of course, this means the price of kayaking equipment has increased as well.

An entry level kayak of the inflatable variety can be purchased for about $250. This style and quality of kayak is often available from sporting goods stores or at a merchandiser like Costco. You will find less expensive versions, but just as you probably wouldn't buy the $59 bicycle to get started, neither should you purchase the cheapest boat if you really plan to try and make kayaking part of your fitness regimen. When you get serious, $750 to $999 can get you into a single-man boat suitable for recreational use at all skill levels whether lake or ocean paddling. Prices increase for superior equipment and depending on the classification.

Superior stability and lighter weight materials, gain you a more expensive a kayak. If you get serious about kayaking, it would be wise to consider investing in a used model where you can get better quality for a lower price.

The five categories that kayaks are classified into are determined by intended use of the boat. There are general recreation styles, day trip and touring-expedition models, whitewater and surf classes. Pricing fluctuates by class and usability.

But, kayaking does not have to be expensive. And, you don't have to be on whitewater rapids for it to be a great workout. Like cycling, it increases endurance and upper body strength. You learn to make good choices on the water to successfully navigate your path safely whether on a still lake or a more challenging river.

Vitamin D is a double edged sword

Recent studies have consistently shown the positive link between Vitamin D and health improvement. Vitamin D has been shown to improve lung health, new asthma treatments, and the prevention of breast and colon cancer. For example, the research is showing that daily intake of 1,000 units of Vitamin D cuts the odds of getting colon cancer by about half, and the chances of breast and ovarian cancer by about one third.

It is a well known fact that regular, sensible exposure to ultraviolet sunlight helps the body produce Vitamin D and that you cannot "overdose" on Vitamin D that is produced through UV exposure (although you might get sunburn!). What is less well known is that vitamin D supplements can be very harmful if not taken correctly.

Vitamin D has many important functions, one of which is the absorption of calcium. This vitamin greatly increases absorption of calcium (from the food you eat) and puts it into the blood stream so that it can be used by the body.

The danger here is that if vitamin D supplements are taken on the same day that dairy milk is consumed, the bloodstream becomes overwhelmed with calcium. This can cause harmful calcification in many parts of the body. Harmful calcification is at the root of a whole variety of diseases such as stroke, cancer and heart disease.

When a person consumes dairy milk, the protein in the milk quickly makes the bloodstream too acidic. The body reacts to this by pulling calcium from the bones back into the bloodstream (calcium is very alkaline and so it helps neutralize the blood).

Following this, calcium from the milk enters the bloodstream more gradually. As this happens, too much calcium builds up in the blood. In a "knee-jerk" reaction the body gets rid of the excess calcium in the bloodstream by dumping it in different parts of the body, leading to harmful calcification and disease.

When milk is consumed on days that vitamin D supplements are taken, this compounds the problem by increasing further the excess calcium in the bloodstream. Excess calcium in the bloodstream is referred to by doctors as hypercalcemia, a condition that can cause serious illness. For this reason it is important to avoid all kinds of dairy milk on days that vitamin D supplements are taken.

To protect your health you should avoid taking vitamin D supplements on days that dairy milk is consumed (or vice-versa). Better still, switch to non-dairy milk which is far more nutritious and delicious than cow's milk. If non-dairy milk is difficult to obtain, you can easily make your own milk from ingredients that can be stored at home.

What would you say is the second leading cause of doctor visits in this country? Some might guess heartburn; others might say a nagging cough. The answer, however, is lower back pain. The problem among adults 45 to 65 years of age is so pervasive that over 75% can expect to be affected by it. If you are one of the 65 million patients in the United States who suffers from back pain, it is a relief to realize that only about one in ten patients actually require surgical intervention.

Lower back pain manifests itself in several different ways. Some patients have persistent aching in their backs, others feel excruciating pain shooting down their legs, still others become so stiff they can hardly straighten up. Weakness and numbness in certain areas can also be experienced. Part of the reason there are so many different sorts of pain is that there are over fifty different nerves that can be affected.

In 90% of the instances, the source of back pain is the motor and sensory nerves that weave through the spinal cord and back. These critical nerves are surrounded by the bones of the spine and slip out through holes to other places in the body. When these nerves are pinched for any reason, pain follows. The back muscles seize in response to the nerve irritation, and pain and stiffness result. Sometimes a bulging disc is at fault. Other times, the cause of the problem is a herniated or ruptured disc. Whatever the source, back pain can be incapacitating.

You can effectively try to treat back pain on your own at home. Take an anti-inflammatory, such as ibuprofen, to relieve swelling. Taking it easy for two or three days is recommended. Find a position that does not cause pain and rest. The idea is to halt the pinching of that nerve. If symptoms do not subside or if they worsen, seeing a doctor is advised. Tests can determine the source of the pain and rule out more dangerous issues. Physical therapy may be advised. Fortunately, in most cases, the pain can be stopped without surgery.

If you are disabled you may find it difficult to come up with a good exercise program. However, more and more fitness equipment is being specially designed to fit the needs of people who have disabilities, whether they are temporary disabilities due to an injury or if it is a permanent disability. Many of these products are also useful for people who are recovering from an injury.

One important piece of fitness equipment that people with disabilities use is the recumbent steppers. This allows people to use a step machine from a seated position. They are portable and are generally used on a hydraulic stepping machine, which responds to the amount of pressure applied. A recumbent stepper can help one improve balance, improve endurance, strengthen the lower body and lose weight without impacting the joints or back.

The recumbent bike is considered to be another popular piece of exercise equipment. People who are able to transfer to the bike seat use a standard recumbent bike. Sitting on the bike doesn't put as much pressure on the joints and back. If you suffer from arthritis and a loss of mobility in your joints this is a great machine as an alternative exercise.

If you are confined to a wheelchair then you will find the ergo meter to be a great option. Ergo meters actually allows a wheelchair to be rolled directly onto the machine. Other more portable styles can be brought to the table to work out the upper body or placed on the floor to work out the lower body. You can use an ergo meter for a cardiovascular workout as well as for strength building exercises.

Sit-to-stand machines are a good idea for those trying to rehabilitate their muscles. People in wheelchairs can do sitting and standing workouts without the aid of a therapist doing any lifting. An adjustable seat is handy, as well as, the machine determining the percentage of assistance that you may need.

Many people who are in the process of rehabilitation like to use stretching machines. These come in a variety of options. They are available in simple rollers that slip onto your shoes to do ankle stretches. They are also available in full body machines. Many people who suffer pain because of a lack of flexibility in major muscle groups find that they are able to increase their flexibility. They are also great at improving circulation, which can help prevent degenerative diseases like arthritis or osteoporosis.

Be sure to check with your physician prior to beginning any exercise program so that they can assist you in designing the best program suited for your rehabilitation needs. Without an approved workout by your doctor or therapist you could actually worsen your current situation.

You want to be sure to incorporate both fun and effective exercises into your routine to avoid the monotony. Be sure that you pay special attention to what your body is telling you. If it feels like you need to stop then be sure that you take a break and give your body a rest.

The Pilates Reformer could easily have been an extra from a 70's horror movie. In fact I am sure I remember Vincent Price using one! In actual fact, it is a well crafted machine designed to deliver top quality and fitness workouts via Pilates.

Explaining what the Pilates Reformer actually does wouldn't make a lot of sense without actually explaining what Pilates is and how it is intended to work.

The aim of a Pilates workout is to improve your core strength, rather than just your external appearance. It pays particular attention to the stomach muscles (abdominals) and the back muscles, which quite honestly are key to any serious workout anyway.

There are a number of basic principals associated with Pilates. These were not created specifically by the creator of Pilates, but by coaches and instructors. Broadly speaking, they can be divided into the following categories: Centering, Concentration, Control, Precision, Breath, and Flow.

Centering means focusing your concentration and efforts to the centre of the body, in an area under the rib cage and above the pubic bone. Pilates exercises are focused on this area and this is an important area to concentrate on.

Concentration is as the name implies. Focusing 100% attention to the job in hand. It goes without saying that if you can do that, you can get excellent results from Pilates.

Control means undertaking the exercises in a controlled manner and not flinging yourself into them willy nilly.

Precision is referring to carrying out the exercises exactly as outlined by the instructor. Any deviation from these instructions will impact on the quality of the workout and the benefit that you receive.

Correct breathing is very important to Pilates as it is to many other forms of fitness and exercise. Pilates requires you to coordinate your breath with your motion for the best effect.

When referring to flow, Pilates means that your actions should be smooth and even rather than jerky. Again, any deviation from this principal will impact on the benefit that you receive from doing the exercise.

These basic principals actually apply to many forms of exercise, although all six together are pretty unique to the performance of Pilates. They are also pretty much common sense, and if applied correctly, will help give you the maximum benefit from your workout.

Now that we have an understanding the basic principles and core strength philosophy of Pilates, we can better understand how the Pilates Reformer can help us with our Pilates workout. It has been designed to make each of the principals as easy to carry out as possible, with its fine tuned resistance and smooth operation. Used properly, the Pilates Reformer can dramatically improve your core strength, which is after all, what Pilates is all about!

I'm always trying to explain to my son in high school who thinks he's bad at math, that he is bad at it because that's what he believes. If he were to open his mind and tell himself he can do as well in math as he does every other subject, he simply would. It's that easy. Just believe in yourself. The secret about "The Secret" is that it's no secret. No, I'm not being cute with a play on words. Basically, the secret is that whatever we think manifests itself in our lives. It is called the "law of attraction."

The Secret is used by world class athletes to achieve their gold medals and their championship trophies.

Let's look at how we can put "The Secret" or the Law of Attraction to use in helping us shed our excess pounds and achieve our weight loss goals. After all, whether you know it our not, you used the law of attraction to get to where you are today. Yes, those tight clothes were attracted by you.

Did you know that "The Secret" can be used by you to create your perfect body and to lose the weight you've been wanting to lose?

Our thoughts today become our reality tomorrow. If we allow our thoughts to focus on bad things, then those bad things will enter our lives. We are attracting them to us.

Yes, it's true: whatever we think about we become. If we think about and obsess about ice cream, then we become the ice cream person. I'm sure you've seen how obese people eat. They eat that way because they've been dreaming about the food.

How can you harness the law of attraction to create your new fit body?

Start thinking like a thin fit person. Think about how a vigorous walk will make you happy and feel better about yourself. Think about how good you will fell when you can wear a smaller size pair of pants.

Don't think fat thoughts. Don't associate food with happiness. Don't dwell on hunger. If you feel hunger then tell yourself it's your body telling yourself that it's time to exercise and then go for a walk. Interrupt those negative thoughts.

If you are struggling to lose weight, stop yourself right now and write down what thoughts turn in your head. Come on, do it. Did you catch yourself thinking bad thoughts about yourself? If you are being truthful, you probably are.

Harness the law of attraction and attract to yourself the body you know you want and should have.

Whatever you can conceive and believe you can achieve. If you can see a new thin you, then you can become a new thin you. You have to "see it" first in your mind.

Control your thought and you will control your life. Use the law of attraction to attract the body you want and need.

My Most Recommended Diet for Washboard Abs

Having six pack abs is not that impressive if they are hidden under excessive body fat. Doing six pack abs exercises every day in the gym is often a waste of valuable training time. There are several factors involved in getting six pack abs. In my opinion, abdominal training is not even one of them.

The process of building six pack abs is three fold. You have to focus on three areas to get the results you want. The first focus area is muscle building. More muscle mass will help you burn fat faster. Second focus is cardio exercising. This article will examine the last focus area, dieting.

Dieting is one of the most important factors when developing and maintaining six pack abs. It is not so much about restricting yourself to eat as little as possible. It is about changing what you eat today with healthier alternatives. When I started on my path I first decided to eat three tomatoes each day. After making that a habit I changed my breakfast from something with cheese to muesli with milk and blueberries. After that I continued to change things for the better. One step at a time.

I recommend eating five to six times each day. This will keep your metabolism increase to a higher level. Your body will also stop saving excess fat for between meals. You will also stop over eating as you know you do not have to wait for the next meal.

It is important that each meal consist of three major categories of food. You will want one third of protein rich food, one third of carbohydrates like pasta, brown rice or potatoes and one third fruit, vegetables or berries. Each of the parts should only be about a fistful in size. This will give you enough food to last until the next meal.

Since you are now eating every two - three hour it is important that you plan your meals. It is always a good idea to make food twice the size of a recommended meal and store half of it for a later meal. It is also important that you have a backup meal for when it is hard to get hold on a portion of healthy food.

Proteins are the building blocks of your muscles. You need a good amount of proteins each day for your muscles to grow. You will find proteins in products like lean meats, fish, chicken, beans, lentils, grains, nuts or seeds. You can also us a protein shake to complement for the need of proteins.

One third of you meals should be fruits or vegetables. It is important to use a range of different fruits and vegetables. These products are excellent for your immune system and will help you avoid cancer and heart deceases. They are also helpful in the process of growing your muscles.
